“My motivation came from Salif’s investment in one of the most forgotten areas in Senegal (the center is 700 km from the Capital Dakar), it has given me the opportunity to work at the center and help to educate and develop children for their future. Together, we have a developed programme with a clear
vision”.

Issa Diene - Assistant Coach

“As assistant coach, It has been a great pleasure to have been involved
with the formation of the academy at Kedougou. The region has
a lot of sporting talent; with a real need for help to nurture and develop skills and personal development. The children certainly receive the best support in terms of professional training and discipline with a real enthusiasm that drives the center. We encourage parents to bring their children to the center to develop within the sporting and education programmes. The programmes build courage and provide the motivation and encouragement to work through our contribution to the continuous development of the academy.. It is the first programme of this kind to be set up in the area we are very proud to be part of it”.

Mr Diallo comments; “it is a great initiative. The center allows the kids to
practise their sport with focus, serenity and discipline because of the
expertise and the facilities that are available. The fact that the kids
have to attend school to be involved with the football programme
motivates us and at the same time give us free time on a Wednesday,
Friday, Saturday and Sunday”.

Mr Camara says; “the centre gives us real motivation as parents. It is the fact
that the children are looked after whilst encouraging their education
through sport. It has also allowed the children to have a healthy
occupation. They are well dressed and some of them are given bursaries
into private schools. The results and improvements to the lives of the children are very evident”
